Conservatives
in Love by David Carley is part of the Bridge
Theatre Company's series of workshops called "The Best of The Fringe,
Toronto's Theatre Festival."
knew Conservatives were funny?
Fresh from its sold-out Fringe engagement, and a cover page-worthy
remount as part of The Next Stage
in
Toronto, Conservatives In Love
is a La Ronde-type stream
of sexual confusion and desire that stumbles all over a modern city
until it culminates in the reception hall of an art gallery. The
latest romp from critically-acclaimed Canadian Playwright Dave
Carley (Writing With Our Feet, The Edible Woman) offers us a
hilarious window into a different type of conservative.
